Jump'in - Small cheek leather hackamore

Hackamore with a leather noseband, stainless steel shanks, and a leather curb chain.

Who is this bit suitable for?

The hackamore applies leverage only to the bridge of the nose and the lower jaw. It has no effect inside the mouth. It is excellent for horses that do not tolerate bit contact in their mouth, horses that fight against the rider's hand, or horses that cannot be ridden with a mouthpiece. It is not well suited for horses that are heavy on the forehand, as the effect often causes the horse to move downward towards the plumb line. This bit is best suited for experienced riders who know how to keep a light hand with a hackamore, as the effect can be very strong on the horse's nose when pulling.

• Tips: ideal for use with Jump'In Hackamore bridles. The noseband can be covered with sheepskin, Vetrap, or any other suitable padding to soften the contact.

• Maintenance: Clean periodically with clear water and oil the curb chain and other leather parts.
