Fager Marcus is a very comfortable bit with 100% smooth surfaces – even at the joints. It naturally conforms around the tongue, relieves pressure on the corners of the mouth, and prevents chafing and sores.

Marcus is a great alternative bit to use alongside others, especially for horses that need a softer and more inviting feel than a regular three-piece bit.

Suitable for horses that:

• Resist the contact or react strongly to pressure

• Are inconsistent or nervous in the contact

• Drop their head below the contact

• Do not instinctively seek the bit or tense up in the neck

• Are crooked or difficult to turn

Sweet Iron material oxidizes with use, creating a sweet taste that increases salivation and encourages the horse to seek the bit.
