Jump'in - Leather Full Cheek Gag

This leather-covered gag bit with full cheeks is designed to improve the horse's balance and steerability while maintaining the softest possible feel in the mouth. The bit body is covered with genuine leather, which offers a pleasant and warm contact – unlike stainless steel, sweet iron, or other metal alloys.

The golden central part of the bit is made from German Silver alloy (65% copper, 23% zinc, 12% nickel), known for its soothing properties and durability. The leather covering makes the bit exceptionally soft and adaptable to the horse's mouth. Bit thickness: sides 18mm, center approx. 16mm.

⚠️ Note: Leather-covered bits are not guaranteed against chewing, not even after the first use. Not suitable for horses that chew on the bit frequently.

Usage Tips

• Requires special cheek pieces (e.g., Jump'in gag cheekpiece)

• Can be used with:

  • two reins with a gag strap

  • delta reins (delta on the center of the bit and the gag strap)

  • four reins (the second rein on the gag strap)

• The leather covering prevents the feeling of cold contact and increases the horse's comfort

Care Instructions

• Rinse the bit after each use to prevent residue build-up

• Oil the leather regularly with vegetable oil
